When Super GT heads to Korea for the first time next year, a local manufacturer will be on the GT300 grid as Hyundai will be represented. The Indigo racing team will develop a GT300 specification version of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe likely based on the new mother chassis concept. The team will receive technical assistance from GTA the Super GT organisers.

Toyota, Honda and Subaru already field full GT300 specification cars and Hyundai is likely to be the first of a number of new firms to announce a programme.
